Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

Short version: your mouse tests run entirely in your browser, and the results never leave your device. We don't run accounts, and we don't collect personal information ourselves.

1. Test Data Stays on Your Device

All measurements — DPI, polling rate, click speed, click latency, jitter, double-click and sensitivity — are calculated locally using your browser's built-in web APIs. We never receive, transmit, or store your mouse movements, clicks, or results on any server. When you use the Performance Report, your latest results are saved in your browser's localStorage so they can be combined into a score. That data lives only on your computer and you can erase it any time with the "Clear results" button on the report page or by clearing your browser storage.

2. Advertising

The free website is supported by third-party display advertising (for example, Google AdSense). Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and in some cases to personalise them. These cookies are set by the ad provider, not by us. You can learn about and control personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which tools are popular and how the site performs. Any such analytics measure traffic in aggregate and are not used to identify individual visitors.

4. Affiliate Links

Some pages may contain affiliate links (for example, to recommended gaming mice). If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These links do not change how your test data is handled.

5. Children's Privacy

This site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Choices

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
