A clicks-per-second test counts how many times you can click in a fixed window and divides by the time to give your CPS score.

Around 6–7 CPS is solid, 8+ is fast, and 10+ is very fast. Most people land between 4 and 7 with normal clicking.

Does CPS depend on my mouse?

Partly. Light, responsive switches help, but technique (jitter and butterfly clicking) makes the biggest difference to raw CPS.
