Jitter Test FAQ

What causes jitter?
Sensor noise, a reflective or dirty surface, a failing USB port, or spin-out when you move faster than the sensor's max tracking speed.
How do I reduce it?
Use a quality cloth pad, clean the sensor lens, plug into a rear USB port, and avoid pushing past the sensor's speed limit. Learn more: What is Mouse Jitter?
What's a good result?
An average deviation under ~2px is very smooth. Above ~5px is worth investigating.
